Vintage & Lace: Bell-Sleeved Lace Top, Black Satin Bomber, Vintage Jeans, Double Buckle Belt and Black Leather Bucket Bag

Happy New Year Everyone! Before all else, thank you for your continued support and love. The blog has seen enormous growth this year and it’s all because of you, the readers. Looking forward to 2017 and wishing all of you a happy, healthy and successful new year!

I can’t think of a better way to start this new year than with a little fresh style inspo and I’m so excited to share one of my favorite looks and trends of the season – bralettes and sheer tops. The bralette trend has been everywhere for awhile now – layered over a tee, worn alone or peaking out of your best tank, tee or sweater, but my favorite, and perhaps the most subtle way of wearing this trend is under a semi-sheer top – just enough to be sexy, but subtle enough to keep things demure.

For this look, I wore a navy bell sleeved lace top with mock neck from Zara (currently on super sale) with a black lace bralette (for the less daring, try wearing the top with a matching cami). When I think lace I always think vintage, so I paired the top with my favorite dark indigo vintage jeans with step hem (these beauties are so 90’s and the high waist and straight leg makes any petite girl look just a few inches taller). To give the outfit a real throwback feel, I wore a black satin bomber, double gold buckle belt and slouchy black leather bucket bag. Finally, I threw on black suede booties and a pair of vintage navy and gold earrings to complete the look.
