Ever since Gucci’s Fall 2016 debut of their satin embroidered bomber jacket, I have been drooling over everything embroidered. Most of us won’t be able to afford that $3,500 beauty, but fortunately for us trend obsessed gals, embroidered items, from bombers to shirts to denim, can be found at far more attainable retail outlets like Zara, Forever21 and Missguided.
For my birthday this year, I planned a beautiful dinner with my best girl friends at Zuma New York , which has become one of my favorite restaurants since it opened early last year. Due to my insane work schedule, I found myself dining at a Chili’s in the middle of nowhere Massachusetts on the night of my actual birthday (definitely not fance, but at least the skinny marg was kinda delish)…so, I couldn’t wait to get back to NYC and celebrate in style. For the occasion, I wanted to wear something with an Asian flare and knew that my navy blue satin shirt jumpsuit with floral embroidered back would be perfect for the venue and appropriately evening for a Thursday night out in NYC. To keep the look sleek, I paired the jumpsuit with a pair of super pointed toe Christian Louboutin pumps, Chanel classic large flap bag, thick black velvet choker and a pair of vintage gold domed earrings.
