Trend Alert: All White Everything

on

Like most NYC girls, I ADORE my almost all black wardrobe … but, I have to admit, there’s just nothing more classic and feminine than wearing all white.   And since I’ve long abandoned the silly fashion rule that you can’t wear white after Labor Day (and before Memorial Day), I wear all white as often as I can get away with it (but never to a wedding) and am thrilled that it’s now on trend.

So, two weekends ago, on a Sunday afternoon long after Labor Day and well before Memorial Day, I stepped out in an all white look for brunch and shopping with the girls.  To create this Winter/Spring transitional look, I wore the prettiest white top with fluttery kimono sleeves  (you all know I am currently obsessed with statement sleeves) with a pair of super high waist skinny white jeans.  To break up the all white silhouette and to define my waistline, I wore a Gucci belt with double GG buckle.  For accessories, I went with gold hoop filigree earrings and a Gucci Padlock GG Supreme shoulder bag that has the most gorgeous gold link chain strap. For shoes, I opted for black python stacked heels that I knew could withstand a little walking whilst shopping. Finally, I threw on a camel blazer to bring the entire outfit together.
