Nothing says summer like a classic eyelet dress, skirt or top.
No longer relegated to grandma’s table and buffet coverings, eyelets have become more of a trend item. But knowing how to pair and elevate this breathable, lightweight, summer fabric is key to creating a modern, but still playful look.
For our last night out in Savannah, I wanted something with a sweet southern flare without compromising on NYC modernity. To create the look, I opted for the prettiest square neck eyelet top with frilly trims, embroidered florals and tie waist, and balanced the cute factor with an A-line faux suede mini skort. For accessories, I went with tailored and refined, opting for black modern squared cat eye sunglasses from Saint Laurent, thick gold hoop earrings, pearl ankle strap high heels and a white embossed python crossbody.
Style Note: This bag is quickly becoming my go-to for the summer when looking for something other than a basket bag. The bright white is perfect for the season, embossed leather is rich enough for day or night, and its super versatile as it can also be used as both a crossbody and a clutch.
