Everything is better in a sundress…

especially one that’s versatile enough to take you from a girls brunch to a special occasion.  In just a few weeks, Bugsy and I will be heading to Lake Como for the wedding of one of our dearest friends (sooooo excited) and naturally, I’ve been amassing an Italian summer holiday wardrobe.  Like NYC, I’ve heard the lake can be hot and humid this time of year, so I’m focusing primarily on breezy dresses.

A few weeks ago, I picked up this gorgeous mustard floral midi dress with tie back with ruffles that make it perfectly feminine.  Since I’ll be wearing it to a wedding event, I’ll be pairing the dress with a pair of gold block heel sandals – perfect for navigating cobble stone, but elevated enough to meet the dress code.  For accessories, I’m keeping them strictly summer inspired with my favorite rattan basket bag, green acrylic earrings, initial charm necklaces and classic cat-eye sunglasses.
