Summer Stripes: Off-the-Shoulder Striped Dress, White Patent Sneakers, Orange Lens Aviator Sunglasses, Gold Gucci Disco Bag and Gold Hoop Earrings

I’m super excited for the upcoming holiday weekend (although it’s always bittersweet to celebrate the official end of  summer) and with Labor Day just around the corner, I’ve already begun plotting my best Americana-inspired looks.  You know I love incorporating a theme into my wardrobe, but the key is doing it without being too literal. So no, you won’t be seeing me in American flag shorts next weekend.

To create a casual, Labor Day inspired look, I paired the cutest red, white and blue striped off-the-shoulder knit bodycon dress with white patent puma sneakers (my go-to for the last few seasons whenever I want to dress down a look and keep things comfy).  To add a little visual interest and something unexpected, I wore gold aviator sunglasses with orange lenses, gold oval hoop earrings and layered gold cuff bracelets with my favorite gold and black face Cluse watch.  Finally, to incorporate some luxury, I carried a gold leather Gucci disco bag.
