Spring has finally sprung in NYC and this gal couldn’t be more excited! Rooftop drinks, outdoor seating, spring/summer soirees, weekends in the park and the list goes on and on…
Earlier this week, I met up with a few of my favorite bloggers for Nudwear’s showcase of their new swim and loungewear collection at the Alexis Bittar boutique in Soho. For the event, I took advantage of the warm Spring temps in a floral culotte jumpsuit with ruffle neckline detail. I absolutely love the print of the jumpsuit – reminiscent of traditional Chinese silk embroidery often seen on chi pao dresses or tapestry work. As you’ll see, I carried this subtle asian-inspiration throughout the look. For something a little unexpected, I wore a pair of powder blue suede mules that make just about any outfit a notch cooler. Since we were attending the event at a jewelry boutique, I knew I had to make a statement with my accessories and wore a pair of pearl tassel drop earrings and carried my brand new bright white Pinko Love Bag, which I tied a Pinko Love Silk Handkerchief to for a little extra color. To pull it all together, I wore a deep red lip.
