Sporty Chic: Jersey Tank Dress, Adidas Superstar Sneakers, Oversized Cat Eye Sunglasses, Floral Rhinestone Ear Cuff and Stacked Gold Cuff Bracelets

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I don’t often go “casual.” But, athletic-inspired styles (also known as the athleisure trend), like sneakers, racing-stripes, mesh, sweatpants and work-out coords, have been all over the runways and on your favorite celebs for the last few seasons with no signs of slowing down. So, why not embrace a trend that finally gives us chicks a fashionable excuse for dressing comfortably?

The key to keeping your overall look chic, balanced and not too literal, is to pair sport-inspired pieces with some not so sporty, but sleek and elevated fashion pieces. For my Sunday out and about in NYC, I paired a playful heather gray graphic print mock neck jersey tank dress with classic white Adidas Superstar trainers. To add some shine and a little edge, I wore floral rhinestone gold cuff earrings, multiple gold cuff bracelets with marble, studded and ring details from Nandel Paris and a slouchy black leather tote with gold stud details. Finally, to keep the look sleek and polished, I wore black oversized cat eye Tom Ford sunglasses, kept my hair pin straight and put on some deep berry gloss.
