Last night, we were heading to Bua in the East Village for NA’s birthday festivities and it was sweltering! I had forgotten how HOT NYC summers can be, but there’s something about steamy nights that sets the mood just right for a night out of celebrating.
There’s nothing I love more than having an excuse to wear an over-abundance of white during the summer months. So, with these scorching temps, I decided to push the envelope just a little and went with an all white look. When summer was just approaching, I picked up this super cute off-white crochet crop halter, but had reservations about baring my full midriff every time I tried it on with regular rise bottoms. To keep things classy and relatively covered, I wore it with my go-to white denim high waisted button through mini skirt. To keep the rest of the look neutral, I paired it with a taupe saddle bag, leather cage sandals and bronze toned cuff and button earrings.
