If you haven’t noticed, the button front A-line denim skirt (reminiscent of the one your mom wore in her “I was cool back then pic”) is totally back and all the rage. Whether you’re a mini-skirt, midi-skirt or maxi-skirt kind of girl, everyone’s making them and everyone’s wearing them.
This weekend, I decided to break out my mini button front A-line denim skirt for my all-day girl fest and brunch with MM. I paired the skirt with a flouncy, striped, off-the-shoulder top, rich brown platform sandals and a leather saddle bag. To add a touch of bling, I threw on my favorite timeless cuffs from David Yurman and Majorica (who cares if we’re mixing metals). I also swept on my new mauve liquid lipstick from Kat Von D to keep things modern (after all, I didn’t want to look like a scene from Austin Powers).
And, I’m glad I put some thought into the outfit since we ran into the President at brunch at Upland. Can you say epic Saturday?
