For MM’s birthday festivities, we were heading out to the West Village on a rainy night and I wanted to wear something to suit the mood – dark and ready for mischief.
I opted for an Army Green Lace Up Front Mini Wrap Dress (lace up front anything is a must this season – tops, bodysuits, dresses). To keep things edgy, I paired it with two rocker-inspired staples – my favorite black leather biker jacket (definitely one of my best wardrobe investment pieces – I’ve owned mine for over 5 years and still wear it all the time) and black leather platform booties. For accessories, I kept things simple with a knotted gold cuff, black chunky square sunglasses and espresso croc bucket bag (I’ve long abandoned the rule that shoes and bags must match).
