HAPPY EASTER!
Nothing says Spring like pastels and there’s no better way to celebrate Easter than with a beautiful all pink ensemble.
I remember the days when my mom couldn’t get me to wear anything but pink (I was always a girly girl) and as I emerge from my customary all black Fall/Winter, I’ve been drawn to vibrant colors again – especially rose tones. The love affair began with my gorgeous pink wool coat from Pinko that added an uncharacteristic pop of color to my otherwise dark Winter wardrobe and since it’s been unseasonably cold these first weeks of Spring, I’ve been able to get a few more, very welcome wears of this beauty. To create a mod – Jackie O inspired – look, I paired the classic cocoon coat with a pink and red color block lace dress with trumpet sleeves. I just loving wear shades of the same color in one ensemble to create an interesting monochromatic look. This dress is perfect for a garden wedding, spring cocktail party or shower. To give the outfit a little edge and modernity, I wore a Valentino Rockstud Tote and strappy lace up Aquazurra nude suede heels. Finally, I accessorized with classics – black cat-eye sunglasses and vintage floral dome earrings.
BTW, I also wore this gorgeous ensemble to the Leanne Marshall Fall/Winter 2018 Show – my last of the season. See pics below for some of the incredible looks from the runway.
