Last Sunday, the girls were meeting up for brunch at Soccarat Paella Bar (a tapas and paella restaurant with a few locations throughout NYC) for our monthly gals meetup and I, of course, wanted to wear something that had a little Spanish flare (matador-esque, if you will) to match the venue.
To create the look, I wore high waist, tapered cut navy blue pants that I paired with a white embroidered crop top and classic short denim jacket, to mimic the matador silhouette (i.e. bolero and high waist pants) without being too literal. For accessories, I opted for classic oversized cat eye sunnies, rich brown croc bucket bag, brass snake cuff, porcelain domed ring and antique gold toned circle detail choker. For a little height, I wore a pair of nude suede platform pumps. And to finish my Spanish-inspired look, I was sure to put on the brightest red lipstick I could find. Olé!
