For @FashionRoll and her twin sissy’s Birthday last weekend, we celebrated over a boozy brunch at Hotel Chantelle on the LES (btw, the Family Style Brunch is amazeeeeeeeee and perfect for large groups, but be sure to ask for rooftop seating). I knew I had to bring my style A-Game, after all, we were celebrating the ever stylish@FashionRoll, but I wanted to wear something comfy to enjoy the decadent spread without worrying about a post brunch food baby, and to hop around the LES for some post brunch drinks and dancing.
For the festivities, I opted for a black and white polka dot mini length shirt dress with a swing silhouette and black suede over the knee boots for a retro mod look. To add a little edge and to break up the otherwise all black outfit, I threw on a tan suede motorcycle jacket. Finally, I wore my large black classic Chanel Flap bag, Chanel army green resin, pearl and crystal stud earrings from the current Spring/Summer 2017 collection and my favorite oversized black cat eye Tom Ford Anoushka sunglasses.

LOVE – M.Y.
P.S. For this week’s look, I had the pleasure of collaborating with MM, who is currently honing her photography skills in a new portraiture class. There is nothing like working with one of your best friends, the comfort you feel in front of the camera with someone you know well or the unique ability of those you love most to capture you in your most natural light. After all, we’ve been practicing our posing and photo-taking skills for years – from nights out in NYC to Caribbean jaunts to Euro vacays. Stay tuned for more photos from MM as we work together for the course of her class. I can’t wait to see what we create together. Exciting times! <3
