Something about Fall weather brings out the boho elements of my personal style.
Tunics, flowy/oversized tops, paisley print, ruffles and fringe – all seem most suitable while ushering in the cooler new season. Thankfully, boho looks continue to be ever popular this Fall. Perhaps we’re all still lamenting the loss of festival season or we’ve all just grown accustomed to more comfortable, casual and spacious clothing during quarantine, but I’m glad to be channeling early 90’s Sienna Miller once more.
So, a few weeks ago, on a little family sojourn to the Berkshires, where the temperatures were slightly cooler than those at home in NYC, I was happy to wear the first of a few new boho looks. Perhaps my favorite new piece is this darling white babydoll dress with flutter sleeves with back tie detail that I wore to a picnic behind our AirBNB (Style Note: For my mamas-to-be, this would be a perfect maternity dress). Since the temps were on the warmer side, I was able to wear it alone (with all the lovely back details in full view) with a pair of strappy black and gold block heel sandals. For accessories, I wore my new thick gold hoop earrings from Lili Claspe and a thick gold curb chain bracelet. I can’t wait to restyle this for a crisp fall day and layer it with an oversized denim jacket or printed shirt jacket, booties and felt hat.
