Birthday Boho: Star Print Long Sleeved Mini Dress, Gray Suede Over-the-Knee Boots and Prada Camera Bag

For my birthday this year, I knew we’d be celebrating at a boozy brunch during Halloween Weekend. So, I wanted to wear something festive (and birthday appropriate), but with just a tiny bit of “boo” spirit.

I found the cutest star print mini dress from Lovers + Friends. Although the dress is admittedly a little hocus pocus, the neckline keyhole, slight open back and super short hemline give it more of a modern boho feel. To keep the look on trend, I wore my new favorite over-the-knee gray suede boots (my absolute go-to boot for the season). And, to keep things fun (and because I couldn’t wait to wear my new birthday gift from Bugsy), I opted for my Prada Saffiano Blue Leather Camera Bag (don’t be afraid to incorporate a little pop of color, especially when wearing blacks, whites and grays). For accessories, I kept jewelry to an absolute minimum with a pair of simple stud earrings as to not compete with the busy (but so fun) star print and threw on my hippie dippie round black sunnies.
