This weekend, the girls and I were meeting up for a way overdue catch-up session at Tavern on the Green. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate what felt like the first warm and sunny Saturday of the year than over a beautiful rose infused brunch at a landmark in the middle of Central Park. It’s been years since I’ve been at Tavern and the newly restored space and farm-to-table menu are completely swoon-worthy. Oh how I love this incredible city in the Spring!
For our Saturday festivities, I wanted to wear something special – Spring-worthy, but classic to complement the iconic backdrop. I opted for an off-the-shoulder woven dress with allover stripe pattern and button placket. The front tie detail and short flounce sleeves add an extra touch of femininity. For a little height, I wore pair of woven espadrille wedges with dot detail. To keep the overall look casual (and to facilitate a little post-brunch shopping), I wore my favorite black backpack. Finally, for accessories, I wore a few dainty pieces by MYRRA that I recently discovered at their midtown Pop-Up Shop, including the most beautiful rose gold string earrings. To complete the look (because every Spring look requires the perfect pair of shades), I wore black cat-eye Tom Ford sunglasses.
