I don’t know about you, but this Fall, I’m all about the vintage vibes.
From top handle box bags to oversized glasses to statement sleeves and wrap belts, I’m all about incorporating vintage elements into my wardrobe this Fall.
So, for the Marcel Ostertag SS/19 runway show (hands down one of my favorite shows this past NYFW), I wore a look inspired by his FW/18 collection, Opium, which was rich with 70’s vibes, sequins, luxe fabrics and earthy tones. To create the look, I couldn’t wait to wear a new Fall purchase, a deep burgundy ruffle shirt dress from & other stories. The dress is made in an unexpected shimmery plaid print delivering just the right amount of dimension and with buttons all the way through, I was able to conveniently create a high slit incorporate more movement in the skirt. To enhance the overall look, I switched out the dress’ tie belt with a vintage thick weave belt to create a very defined waist. For accessories, I stacked my favorite gold toned bangles, wore oversized clear glasses and carried a top handle round box bag. Finally, to the outfit up a notch, I wore high heel clear pumps with crystal toe detail.
