Who said that errands can’t be done in style? A major apartment upgrade is underway (so excited) and I’ve been running all over NYC picking out art, furniture, fixtures, paint, etc. So, for a few appointments last weekend, I decided to leave the usual leggings and sneaks combo at home and put on something a bit more polished.
There’s nothing more classic and style-proof than a crisp white button down and jeans. For a twist on this classic pairing, I opted for updated silhouettes. I wore a white off-the-shoulder crossover button down top with a high waist denim pencil skirt. To keep the look tailored, I carried a black top handle satchel and wore black cap toe slingbacks (these are my favorite work heels, so so comfy) and a pair of cat-eye tortoise D&G sunglasses. Finally, for a little color and fun, I opted for red tassel earrings and red stone and silver rings (that I picked up for $5 from a street vendor on our recent trip to Venice Beach, CA).
